Boilermakers, Fitters & Riggers – Shutdown Works, Port Kembla
 
If you are a Qualified Boilermaker, Fitter or Ticketed Rigger who possesses experience with Shutdowns then the below shutdowns may be of interest to you
The upcoming Shutdowns are all Port Kembla-based and without LAFA or travel allowances offered, are best suited to those living locally or within a comfortable driving distance
If you meet all required criteria and would like to be considered for any of the shutdowns listed below, then please apply ASAP & follow the steps further below
 

Upcoming Shutdowns:

Sinterplant, Bluescope Steelworks – Tuesday 17th & Wednesday 18th February

 
Positions Available & Pay:
FLAT Hourly Rates
– Boilermakers – $50 PAYG / $58 ABN
– Fitters – $50 PAYG / $58 ABN
– Riggers – $46 PAYG / $ $53 ABN

 
Working Hours: 10-12 Hour Shifts
Meeting Point: At the contractors yard, based locally, then shuttled to work site (Paid from contractor yard)

 
Criteria:

– MUST have valid & relevant Trade Qualification & Tickets
– Previous Shutdown experience
– Working at heights accreditation (within 2 years)
– Whitecard & full PPE
– BlueScope Complyflow accreditation desirable
– Own lockout locks desirable
